A wonderful nature hike with amazing ruins
Our family of four (including a 16- and 13-year-old) absolutely loved visiting Siena and San Gimignano. But we wanted to do something a little off the beaten path in Tuscany, so we chose Constanza's Castelvecchio nature walk. It was highly informative, and a wonderful way to spend a few hours. We got to see some local fauna, meet some extremely cute local dogs, and explore some amazing ruins that are rarely visited by international tourists. Costanza set it up so we were able to have special access to the ruins and provided details about the history of the space along with Mario, a local volunteer. After the hustle and bustle of the main tourists’ spots, it was great to have a nice walk in nature hosted by a knowledgeable local guide that included a view into unique local history. She kept our teenagers engaged and was very accommodating throughout the experience.

Expert Guide Brings Siena's History and Traditions to Life
Costanza was an outstanding guide for our family of four (two adults and two children, ages 10 and 13). Her deep knowledge of Siena's contrada districts made our tour both informative and enjoyable.
We walked through the historic center, learning about the significance of the palio flags and contrada signage. Highlights included a visit to the Tortoise contrada museum and church, and the Siena Cathedral, where Costanza's detailed explanations of the stone floors, architectural features, and artworks were especially appreciated. Her keen eye for visual details helped us imagine the preparations for the famous Palio race.
Though our visit to Siena was brief, the two and a half hours with Costanza gave us a wonderful perspective on the city. We are eager to return!

Lovely tour!! I studied abroad in Siena a few years ago and was on vacation with my family. Constanza provided a wonderful tour for us and was a great way for my parents to learn about a city I love so much!!

Husband and I had a great experience touring Siena with Costanza. She is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. Highly recommend. We loved Siena and her tour was a good introduction to this lovely place.
